About us
NeoRise is a growing group of businesses operating across financial services, accounting, business advisory and technology.
Our businesses include an established money transfer company, an accounting and advisory firm, and AI-powered platforms designed to help businesses and property investors make better financial decisions.
Our founder is also an active content creator with an established social media audience, sharing practical insights about business, finance, entrepreneurship and investing.
We believe that valuable business knowledge shouldn’t stay inside meeting rooms. The right idea, conversation or experience can become content that educates thousands of people, builds trust and creates genuine business opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who can help us make that happen consistently.
The role
Your main job is to grow our founder’s personal brand and turn his knowledge, daily activities and business experiences into engaging social media content.
You will work closely with the founder, attend relevant meetings and business activities, capture valuable moments, research content ideas, organise filming and manage his social media presence.
We don’t want someone who simply waits to be told what to post.
We want someone who notices opportunities, brings fresh ideas, understands what makes content engaging and takes the initiative to get things done.
You should be comfortable picking up a phone to record a spontaneous video, recognising an interesting conversation that could become a Reel, or suggesting a new content angle based on what people are talking about.
You’ll own the founder’s organic content calendar and day-to-day social media execution, working with our Growth Marketing Strategist to align content with wider business objectives.
You’ll also assist with client enquiries, sales calls, scheduling, research and executive tasks.
This is a hands-on position working directly with the founder from our Chatswood office. It suits someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and wants to be involved in building growing businesses.
What you’ll do
01Primary focus
Social media management & growth
This is the primary responsibility of the role.
- Manage the founder’s social media accounts, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Actively develop and implement ideas to grow reach, engagement and relevant followers.
- Research content trends, audience interests, competitor accounts and emerging topics.
- Identify opportunities for educational, engaging and shareable content.
- Develop and maintain a weekly and monthly content calendar.
- Proactively suggest Reels, stories, carousels, interviews and other content formats.
- Write captions, hooks, story sequences and short-form video scripts.
- Schedule and publish approved content consistently.
- Monitor comments, DMs and audience feedback.
- Identify questions and discussions that could become new content.
- Monitor content performance and recommend improvements.
- Work with our marketing team to ensure content supports broader business objectives.
We expect you to bring ideas rather than simply execute instructions.
02
Content capture, filming & repurposing
A significant part of your job is to turn the founder’s everyday work into valuable content.
- Attend relevant meetings, events and business activities with the founder.
- Record videos, behind-the-scenes moments and discussions where appropriate and authorised.
- Identify interesting insights, stories and lessons from meetings and conversations.
- Extract potential content ideas from meeting notes, recordings and transcripts using approved AI tools.
- Turn long conversations into short-form videos, stories, carousels or written posts.
- Organise and coordinate filming sessions.
- Assist with lighting, audio and basic video recording.
- Perform basic video editing or coordinate editing with our creative team.
- Maintain an organised library of recorded footage, content ideas and reusable material.
- Follow up with designers and editors to ensure content is completed and published on schedule.
The goal is simple: valuable content opportunities should not be missed just because the founder is busy running businesses.
You must exercise sound judgement around privacy and confidentiality. Meetings or conversations must only be recorded with appropriate permission, and confidential client or business information must never be published or uploaded to AI tools without authorisation.
03
Client relations & sales support
Alongside content responsibilities, you’ll help manage incoming business enquiries.
- Answer incoming calls and enquiries, particularly for NeoRise’s business advisory and AI-related services.
- Communicate professionally with prospective clients and understand their needs.
- Explain our services using approved information.
- Qualify prospective clients and arrange consultations with the appropriate team members.
- Follow up with enquiries and potential clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client conversations and follow-ups.
- Identify business opportunities arising through social media messages and comments.
- Ensure important enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
You don’t need to be a financial expert, but you must be confident speaking with people, asking the right questions and moving conversations towards a decision.
Technical advice and recommendations will remain with authorised or appropriately qualified team members.
04
Executive & personal assistance
You’ll work directly with the founder and help make his day more productive.
- Managing calendars, appointments and meetings.
- Answering or screening calls when the founder is unavailable.
- Coordinating schedules with clients, staff and external contacts.
- Organising meetings and keeping track of outstanding actions.
- Conducting research and preparing concise summaries when requested.
- Assisting with business-related errands, appointments and occasional reasonable personal tasks during working hours.
- Helping coordinate events, travel arrangements and business activities.
- Following up on delegated tasks and ensuring nothing important falls through the cracks.
We value someone who can anticipate what needs to be done rather than waiting for reminders.
05
AI & technology
We actively use AI and technology to improve productivity. You’ll be expected to use appropriate tools to:
- Research and organise content ideas.
- Transcribe authorised recordings and identify key insights.
- Draft content outlines, summaries and scripts.
- Organise calendars, tasks and follow-ups.
- Streamline repetitive administrative work.
- Improve content production and team coordination.
You don’t need to be an AI engineer. However, you should be curious, technologically confident and willing to learn new tools.
AI should help you work smarter, but your judgement, creativity and communication skills remain essential.
What we’re looking for
- Creative and commercially minded
- You understand that social media is not just about posting attractive content. It’s about building an audience, earning trust and generating meaningful engagement and business opportunities.
- Proactive and resourceful
- You don’t wait for detailed instructions. You identify opportunities, suggest ideas and take responsibility for execution.
- Comfortable with content creation
- You’re confident using a smartphone to film, capturing quality footage, writing engaging captions and understanding what makes short-form content work.
- Highly organised
- You can manage several moving parts, coordinate people, remember commitments and complete tasks without constant supervision.
- Confident communicator
- You communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing, and feel comfortable answering calls, interacting with clients and following up on enquiries.
- Comfortable working closely with a founder
- You can adapt to a busy and changing business environment, handle confidential information appropriately and maintain a professional attitude.
- Technology-savvy
- You’re comfortable learning and using digital tools, including AI, social media platforms and content management systems.
Skills and experience
- Experience managing or growing social media accounts.
- A practical understanding of Instagram Reels, stories, engagement and audience growth.
- Experience creating short-form videos or coordinating content production.
- Basic video recording and editing skills.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Confidence speaking with prospective clients on the phone.
- Experience using tools such as Canva, CapCut, ChatGPT and social media scheduling platforms.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Nice to have
- Professional proficiency in Farsi.
- Experience managing the social media presence of a founder, entrepreneur or business professional.
- Experience in business, finance, accounting, property or professional services.
- Experience with AI-assisted video production and transcription tools.
- Photography or videography skills.
- Experience in customer service, sales or appointment setting.
- Familiarity with CRM and lead management systems.
You don’t necessarily need years of experience or a marketing degree.
If you’ve successfully grown a social media account, produced engaging content or helped build a personal brand, we’d love to see your work.
What success looks like
Within your first three months, we would expect you to:
- Establish a consistent and organised content creation process.
- Build a pipeline of relevant content ideas without constant direction.
- Regularly capture useful videos and insights from the founder’s activities.
- Publish engaging content across the founder’s social media channels.
- Demonstrate improvements in content consistency and audience engagement.
- Identify what types of content generate meaningful attention and qualified enquiries.
- Handle incoming client enquiries professionally and reliably.
- Reduce the founder’s administrative workload through effective coordination and follow-up.
You’ll be measured on initiative, content quality, consistency, relevant audience growth, qualified business opportunities and reliability, not simply how many hours you spend at your desk.
What it’s like working with us
This isn’t a role where every day looks the same.
One morning, you might be filming a discussion about an interesting business problem. Later, you could be preparing a Reel, answering an advisory enquiry, organising meetings or researching an emerging topic.
You’ll have direct access to the founder and exposure to multiple businesses across financial services, accounting, technology and entrepreneurship.
You’ll have opportunities to develop skills in content creation, personal branding, AI, communication and business operations.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys learning, contributing ideas and seeing the results of their work.
Location and working arrangements
- Full-time, office-based position.
- Based in Chatswood, Sydney.
- Regular in-person collaboration with the founder is essential.
- You may occasionally attend external meetings, events or filming locations during working hours.
- This is not a remote or hybrid position.
- Salary: $70,000–$90,000 + superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
How to apply
Apply with the form below. Send your resume, a short cover letter and examples of social media content or accounts you’ve worked on, tell us why the role interests you, and briefly answer these questions:
- If you joined us tomorrow, what are three types of content you would suggest for an entrepreneur who talks about business, finance and investing?
- Tell us about a social media account or piece of content you’ve worked on. What was your contribution, and what results did it achieve?
We’re more interested in your thinking, initiative and practical ability than a perfectly polished cover letter.
If you’re creative, organised, confident with people and excited about turning real business experiences into content that matters, we’d love to hear from you.
